@SFMCfranky that’s awesome. I just usually only get lucky with a sky like that at the most random times.

@SFMCfranky this like those sunsets you only get to see in a grocery store parking lot on a random weekday. Gorgeous shot.

RE: Photograph and Camera talk
Recently got out and shot a roll of Kodak Ektar. Only my second roll, and I’m mad I’ve never shot it before. Got a couple shots for my on-going personal project called “6am in Greensboro” too.

RE: Tattoos
@ZackB for real, Steve crushed it. I’m so pumped with it, and even happier I don’t have to sit through that again.

RE: Tattoos
It’s been a minute, but we are so back. Quite literally. Finally after 5 sessions, spread out over a little over a year, 15 hours of tattooing, it’s finished. Bonus shot with Steve Zimovan. He absolutely crushed this tattoo.

RE: (The Cool Kids All Wear) Band T-Shirts
@meatmarketdenim1 I’m right there with you. Old skate shirts go crazy, along with old band tees. Re-buying shirts in larger sizes has my bank account stressing. I want to worry about wearing a thin vintage shirt, scared it’s going to get “ruined”.

RE: (The Cool Kids All Wear) Band T-Shirts
@meatmarketdenim1 shooooot, nope. The AoW and Turmoil shirts were from Chamber Spins. He did official runs with the bands.
The Bolt Throwers are a couple boots, because I don’t BT vintage money.

@Dystopia very cool shirt and a GREAT band. Figured I could also throw some recent grabs into the thread, as well.

@ROman thanks! Was so stoked to finally use the Fuji 100 I got in Japan. Special film for a special trip.

RE: Photograph and Camera talk
@AllAhoo so sorry I’ve been away, but you said if. Got great use of it on the trip, too! Here’s a handful of shots from the Great Ocean Road. Shot with the Fuji 100 from Japan.

RE: Photograph and Camera talk
No new photos to share as of now, but I’ve got two more days of work before we head off for my wife’s 40th trip. Got a whole grip of film ready for the tip! Threw in an old image from a trip with my best friends from a morning hike in the Blue Ridge Mountains, though. Shot on my Leica M5 with Lomo 800 (grainy goodness).

@ROman that’s awesome! We have a photo group out here that meets up fairly often. Check out Greensboro Photo Collective on the grams if you’re interested.

@Jett129 oh definitely! Creativity and inspiration for sure comes in waves. This has been an on-off personal project for a couple of years. I’ll definitely share more as I work on it. Maybe one day, I’ll be happy enough with shots to do a zine or something.

@SKT this is easily the third try I’ve taken for this scene. The first two were from a different angle, and the light was not nearly as good. I’m with you, there’s definitely something about doorways. Getting close to liminal space territory.

@pechelman lol I’ve always been an early riser. Just finding ways to take advantage of this curse that has been bestowed upon me.

Started up my sunrise walks working on a on-going personal project called 6am in Greensboro.
It’s favorite time to be out in the city. Quiet. Great light. Nobody bothering me.
All shot with my Leica M5, Voigtlander 35mm Ultron on Fuji 400 (US made)
