To whomever asked about snaps on snaps: of course the Texas Tuxedo is acceptable. Even in combination with the Canadian Tuxedo. Snaps are simply a superior method of fastening shirt plackets. If one set is good, two sets are great! As someone who lives in a climate with wild swings that can occur within hours, I appreciate the easy layering adjustments.

@mclaincausey I took off my parka for the pic. It's 33 and cloudy with 20 mph winds today.
Then in typical Minnesota fashion, on my walk back to the office there was a guy walking his dog in a sweatshirt and shorts.

It's hilarious–the converse also happens, where someone's decked out in a hoodie in the middle of summer.

I'm not a vest guy (I don't know why, I could prolly use the pockets), with 3 exceptions that I am entertaining:

Puffer vest. I would like to replace my Marmot with a leather-yoked one (IH would crush that, but I am looking at other options)

Deck vest. I had Lofgren's from a while back but the fit didn't work and I am now interested in the IH one
