Here's a clip of FlyLo performing for the Beeb. Brainfeeder FTW.

Like that a lot Winchy. Been meaning to pick up Cosmogramma for a while now. Have to get round to it. Grabbed the latest Kode9 and Spaceape album the other day though. Incredible. Love this track though most computer speakers won't even pick up the bassline….DEEEEP!

Had to be the first one to post possibly the greatest dance track to come out of the UK. Incredible to think this classic was produced in 1979 and still sounds massive. Bow down before some pant swinging greatness.

Good call on the Atmosfear track!
Would recommend you grab Cosmogramma, there's some beauties on there. I actually need to check out the new Kode9 album but I do like a lot of the Hyperdub stuff, King Midas Sound especially.

Sounds like we're on the same wavelength Winchy
Haven't got King Midas Sound's album but have a fair few of Kevin Martins' other projects: Techno Animal (would blow most metal out of the water for sheer power), The Bug (first album even more harsh!). Love a lot of the Hyperdub stuff, especially Burial's two offerings.
Loved the Flying Lotus collaboration with Gonjasufi (posted here earlier in the thread). Any other recommendations? -
Techno Animal….yes! Just checking out Atomic Buddha! Why had I not looked more into KMS's other projects before!? Thank you so much, I could listen to this stuff all night.
All of the Brainfeeder stuff is great, so Teebs, Samiyam, Daedalus (i'm a Monome user
) all make for fine listening. Also Prefuse 73, Bibio, Actress, Fanu, Lukid, Dam Funk.... I hope there are a few there that you've not heard before.

"He's the hairy-handed gent who ran amok in Kent"! Loving it, that's my home county (not the opening line tho)
That said, there are still lots of 'media types' here in Soho that do actually look like that with their unkempt hair and trendy beards.

Bottles and pints, and shots and cans
Couches and floors, and drunk best friends
Models and whores, and tattooed hands
Cities and secrets and cats and vans
Good times, laughter, bad decisions
Strippers and actors, and average musicians
Mornings after and walks of shame
They bartender knows me by my real name
Sing itWhy scream, when you can lose yourself inside the wide-screen
let life be a bowl of melted ice cream
or be the deer thats caught in my high beams
I'm rollin with the lights on, scared stiff
reality is just too much to bear with
paranoid, walkin around careless
no wonder you're in love with your therapist
go to sleep my little time bomb -
Absolutely lethal 1968 hit by Delano Stewart: Tell me baby
I've been literally obsessing with this track and decided to recut it with Sly & Robbie last week. Although our cover will never ever ever match the original, it is pretty badass too…
