I had a similar mini man vacation when I had my vasectomy. A long weekend in bed eating leftover easter candy and watching Walking Dead on Netflix with no intrusions from my children. I'd do it again. Definitely worth losing your nuts over. Probably not worth mystery brain trauma however. Hoping for the best outcomes for both of you.
Side note… the nurse who "prepped" me for my vasectomy was crazy hot, like when she came to the waiting room to take me back my wife shot me dagger eyes while I was grinning ear to ear and waiving bye bye at her. The nurse actually said to me "Forgive me but I like to put on lots of iodine, I just want to make sure it gets everywhere."
Nurses are real heroes, don't ever let anyone tell you differently. At least I think she was a nurse... Do you tip nurses?
Nah. They get the whole thing.

^Only if they give lapdances…
Is Eli shooting half-blanks or half-real?
I suspect there is an enforced ceasefire at the moment.
There is… It's really hard...
How long, out of interest? (PS I sent you a get well the other day but can't see it here any more - so saying again - get well mate!)

Well first of all I still have plastic "bits" (no stitches or staples) in my groin that will be removed by the urologist next week… They're a pain in the ball cause sitting down, getting up, taking a shit, or sleeping requires a ton of forward planning... Made a wrong move last night and it's been bleedng a bit since...
So I'll wait until those are gone...
My mate who had his cables cut, told me he waited two weeks...

@Seul I'm really happy to hear your are through the other side of your op. Split stiches is no fun, been there! take it easy dude. I'm sure in private you have wobbly moments, but you are always really positive on this forum (in your own inimitable style ;))
Thank you everyone for the kind words and concern. It means a lot. I got back home yesterday. I am so relieved to say that there was no stroke activity on my MRI. That said, because MRIs are specific to the type of scan required the consultants weren't able to tell me much more than 'well it's not a stroke, and that's what we specifically looked for. If you have any more concerns see your GP'.
That wasn't quite as reassuring. I basically have to wait until something like this happens again, and go to hospital under a general admission.
I'm taking a few days off work to rest. Sarah and our little fella have been wonderful. I am a lucky man. Apparently Sennen didn't freak out at all when I collapsed, he actually explained what happened to the first aid responder, and then started to tell her about different insect genus (he loves bugs). I am so proud, he's only just turned 5 too, so I have high hopes for him.
well for now, 'seizure' all later

@Stuart.T I was making a vegan curry earlier and wondering how it was going with your health (yes, I do say that to all the boys), and I considered enquiring myself.
Good to hear you’re feeling well again, but a shame that you are lacking a diagnosis still. I hope your GP can order some tests for you and work it out. Enjoy your rest.

Stuart: that's good to hear… Well: it both is and isn't... I hope you can figure out what it was... Could be a rather "innocent" summat like bloodpressure drop or... who knows?..
Glad your kid took it like a trooper!..
(And thanks again for the wellwishes... Today I went beershopping... I had a ball...)
