You are all crazy…that is why you are here.  In fact, I neglect clothes for work, which at this point, I actually wear more, just to buy IH.  It's great!

Out with the new! In with the old!

This sounds familiar! I've been wearing the same bobbled wool pullovers from Uniqlo and shirts that cost a few dollars in Hong Kong for the past year at work and directing all my money to IH. Still I think there comes a point where you've gotta put the wear into what you have and not keep acquiring (or at least be somewhat restrained).

On a related note, I have total faith in Haraki-san and Giles to continually deliver the goods year after year. There are definite classics no doubt, but there is so much more to come that I rarely feel the need to rush in acquiring products lest the next season's offering is weak. The problem is always choosing…

Again, to echo what SM is saying. It is always a constant duel between want and need, if I bought all the IH I wanted then I would live in a cardboard box and be divorced, so I now try to buy to fill practical gaps in my wardrobe. I have found that (certainly over the last 12 months), I tend to let go most of my vanity/ want purchases, and keep the things that get genuine use. This is why my 33 gets worn for at least a portion of every day, it's my most functional shirt. For me IH marries function, style and durability perfectly, and that is what justifies the price to my budget.

I know that my next wardrobe "need" will be new jeans, as my Busters and my Samurai are half a step away from knackered, so that is my next planned purchase in October.

** my disclaimer is that I also have a vanity IH purchase planned, but it is from a forum member and it should also be functional**

First wash today for Tommys new and improved IH-MINI. This was going to wait a few weeks, but mud, grass, chocolate and milk have made me reconsider.

                  Pre wash pictures…

                  Internal construction pics…

Post wash pics will arrive tomorrow.

It's ohenry's surprise b-day today (it's actually 8/1, but he's hard to surprise). There will be some good IH photos that I'll get up tomorrow.

His present from me, is a choice from one of these 4 fall drops:

                                  Yes, they are.

And that is an excellent idea; I liked it back in 2010, and I still like it now.  Have a great party, Jestre.

FurattoHeddo you are correct, he chose the hunting coverall hands down. He said to me, that I shouldn't even be giving him a choice, I should know.

Mega, if you saw the area that we live in, the hunting coverall is best.  Ohenry is also a huge pockets guy.
