I’m sitting around bored because of a procedure I had today and thought I’d search the forum if that same procedure had come up here before. It has… and often.

I had my vasectomy today. An olive big buck was my prize. Feeling sore and guilty that I’m avoiding my toddler (that loves to run straight into that area) but that’s the price.
Happy to be at this stage of life

I never lost power. Storm here not as bad as it was predicted to be.

@Brian you're in South Australia, right? It's rough down there right now, I hope your AC is up to the task! It was bad enough yesterday here in Brisbane, and we only had to deal with 35*!

Looks like we've got some summer still to go though.

Today is Germany's Day of Remembrance for the Victims of National Socialism.

First comes the erosion of solidarity, then dehumanization, and then the killing.
It happens so fast. So much for "never again."

@endo The grandfather of Yotam Ben Horin survived Auschwitz. Based on his story, he wrote a song. He told me the story behind the writing process, that was a very tough conversation we had. I cannot get through it without tears in my eyes.
