My take is that life should be celebrated regardless of how long or short, and I'm always amazed at how impactful even the most brief of lives can be. Was the site-wide increase in pricing announced anywhere?

@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot, I think you just happened to be looking whilst I was looking at some options on the phone with a Canadian retailer. Our pricing is set in USD alone; we have fixed exchange rates with the other currencies we accept on the site, including CAD (which I assume is your local currency). The reason we do this is so that stores around the world do not need to update their prices daily as the USD and their local currency fluctuates.

The current fixed rate is extremely outdated with the actual USD/CAD rate (1.235 vs an actual of 1.36).

We need to bring this closer in line with the actual Fx to maintain pricing parity between retailers around the world. We will be sending an email out this week with full details and timelines
