@Jett129
hahaha good one.

I finally bought a new laptop after 8 years. I was holding out for a new Microsoft Surface. But they seem pretty overpriced for what you get. So I got one designed for artists so I can use a Wacom pen and draw some shit. I always feel kind of icky spending almost a whole paycheck on something but hopefully this one will serve me as good as the last one did.

@Graeme I can say already what you get for the money is pretty stellar. The surface book 3 (2 years old) is about $3300 and the Acer is $300 less with a better GPU(Nvidia 2070) and processor, twice the SSD space (the Acer has a 2TB NVMe and the Surface does not), twice the RAM, and the Acer has a faster i7 processor (Surface has a U series). Also it's IPS display is a multi touch 4k 60hz display calibrated with Adobe and Pantone, Wacom pen included (Surface is extra) and the overalll design is like a drawing easel.

Thanks @Filthy. I was looking at the refresh of the Lenovo Legion 7i, which is due out in a few weeks. But I will have to check out the Acers.

Well, he's a bleeding genius
:D…......(Aldi is a chain of European supermarkets).....
"A metal detectorist who dug up a hoard of stolen Roman and Viking treasures on his first hunt said he was delighted they were back with their owner.
Novice Charles Cartwright, 43, found nearly 300 historic items buried in a field in Worcestershire.
At first, he thought he had struck lucky with an incredible find - but the Aldi carrier bag that they were in raised suspicions."

The noise makers are OUT. 17 year cicadas are doing there thing.
Haven't had any here yet in Western PA (at least that I have seen). Looking forward to seeing these fellas, I remember 17 years ago picking their shells up and sticking them on my brother.. hoping to torment him some more.

Yea I've been knocking them off the new trees we just planted, although thankfully the major swarms are around the old growth trees in the neighborhood. Some of the larger ones have thousands of discarded shells at their base, looks like a brown carpet.
Last time these came out I was in college. Before that, I was in pre-school. My daughter is 5, which is roughly the age I was when they were out last.

I saw this advertised to me today. Somehow I don't think it would be legal or you could put enough coins in there for it to be heavy enough. It made me laugh though.
