That's sad. I'll be honest, I am no BMX fan and I had to google the name when I read your post but as soon as I saw his pic I recognized him but I can't pinpoint from where or how.  Where would I know him from other than BMX?

I fondly remember playing Dave Mira Freestyle BMX as a kid, really sad to hear that.

I felt really shitty when the news came across my timeline. Leaves behind a wife and two kids.
He was one of a handful of guys I looked forward to seeing during the X-Games in the 90s.
