@Mizmazzle Initially I was worried about them being a bit of a gimmick. But they’ve held up great and are still comfy after a couple years of general, not too heavy, wear.

@Danimal506 little more spring to the step I’d imagine.

In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...

Have a beach trip planned pretty soon and realized I don't really have a stylish pair of sandals or anything. Are the arizonas a good choice to wear to and around the beach? For clarity, I'm not looking for water shoes, once I get on the beach I will go most likely go barefoot. I'm interested in something I can pop on and off quick, wear to and from the beach comfortably, and be able to go into a store or restaurant after as well. Right now I only have your stereotypical athletic sandals worn in public gym showers, and a pair of Quoddy Boucher Mocs with a chromepak leather sole which are a basically my go to summer shoe when I wear shorts.

I also have a pair of crocs I wear around the house, or as water shoes when I go camping, but I prefer not to wear them in public.

If not the Arizona's, anyone have any recommendations, Birkenstock, or otherwise?

@Johnnyutah247 I only wear Arizona’s or Zerrows at the beach. East to slip on and kick off when needed.

I picked these up primarily for beach trip two years ago and have been wearing them around the house ever since. Super comfy, no major signs of wear, and casual enough to walk up to a bar or beach restaurant post beach activities.

@Johnnyutah247 that’s when I kick them off. If I’m around water then they are off.

I never soak them…a little water and they should be fine and no different than being caught in the rain.

@catdad1 I noticed these too. They are intriguing. They are most definitely going to handle the weather and elements better, but that's what I use my crocs for. These are definitely better looking for going out though. I think I'd prefer leather, all things considered.

They'll be fine, but consider giving the space between the straps and foot bed a good brushing when you get home to remove any sand that you took home.

My Arizonas had years of wear - great to/from the beach, sometimes I got the cork footbed wet; never full on dunked but not fully drying my feet before putting em back on. They held up admirably, the cork starting coming away after about 8 years of solid wear.

I tend to wear the EVAs at the beach and the Arizonas pretty much everywhere else. I don’t like to have to think too much about what I’m wearing on my feet when I’m around the water. I’m getting more forgetful in my old age.
