Thank you much. Will be on the lookout. Purple and black is my calling in 2020. Wish the purple ombre was hitting this year. Ill be waiting for the return of the purps!

hmmmmmI'm pretty sure the purple ombre is not coming back. That came out a few years back and typically UHF's are a one-time thing. The blue ombre is making a return because people requested it. Never say never though.

I mentioned/asked Giles about the Ombres a while back after seeing them in the extinct items.
As usual, he didn't say yes–-but he didn't say no either:)
I am totally looking forward to getting my first UHF this year--if everything works out that is.

When we were deciding what UHF's to do for FW20, Haraki came up with a few ideas and we asked if we could add a couple of designs. We had a discussion in-house and Alex won with the Ultra Heavy Flannel Crazy Check Shirt - Navy and AJ won with the Ultra Heavy Flannel Ombré Check - Navy/Black. We plan for the Ombré to be in continuous production like the black/red buffalo check.

Everyone involved from top to bottom has put together a really tasteful collection.
I so like the idea of making the Ombre a Continual item–-Its a worthy addition in my opinion.
We may not all be able to agree on a favorite piece, but we can all agree that IH just consistently makes kick ass gear.

I think it’s great that some UHF’s will become core releases. I need a buffalo check uhf in my wardrobe and the blue ombré will make a nice addition to my grey and purple ombré.

You’ll love the UHF’s. I’m already preaching to the choir here but they are among my most prized IH items and the quality/warmth are second to none. I’m still hoping to see lightweight flannels being offered for the Spring releases but I’m not getting my hopes up. I only wear my UHF’s during the coldest winter days but when it warms up I wish I had 5-6oz IH flannels.

@Paul9221 Your right, it was featured on IG and discussed on the Zoom realease meet-ups. I’m not 100% sure, but I seem to recall that it was one of the items that was victim to Covid-19 related production cut-backs and will be phoenixed for a future collection.
Heya Reuben, thanks for the info! While I'm really excited for it, there's already so much great stuff dropping in the next few months, and Christmas is right around the corner…it's probably in my best interest that it be delayed. I'll keep my ear to the ground for updates.

The brown duck 888's are not part of the FW20 collection. They are something that we were doing as an interim release. Remember, the seasonal collections are interspersed with many items that are not part of a collection as such….

Both of those look great! Initial reaction is to go for the CPO but I do like the collar and zipper on the other…Going to be a tough choice eventually (I hope!)
Ah, the non-collection pieces are the ones that make planning finances difficult
