Hey guys, not sure if this is the right place to post this question but I seem to recall seeing and hearing something about a cookie monster CPO? coat.  I don't see it on the release sheet though. Am I crazy or did that just not make the FW2020 cut?

@Paul9221 Your right, it was featured on IG and discussed on the Zoom realease meet-ups. I’m not 100% sure, but I seem to recall that it was one of the items that was victim to Covid-19 related production cut-backs and will be phoenixed for a future collection.

Heya Reuben, thanks for the info!  While I'm really excited for it, there's already so much great stuff dropping in the next few months, and Christmas is right around the corner…it's probably in my best interest that it be delayed.  I'll keep my ear to the ground for updates.

Also, did the brown duck 888 fall into this same phoenix camp?

Sorry, misread your original post.  My bad.  Here you go….

The brown duck 888's are not part of the FW20 collection.  They are something that we were doing as an interim release.  Remember, the seasonal collections are interspersed with many items that are not part of a collection as such….

Both of those look great!  Initial reaction is to go for the CPO but I do like the collar and zipper on the other…Going to be a tough choice eventually (I hope!)

Ah, the non-collection pieces are the ones that make planning finances difficult Do you guys think that the 888 duck will drop in 2020?

It is a wool that comes from one tubby, grumpy sheep named Melton that lives on a farm outside of the village of Mowbray. He’s big, ugly and bad tempered but his wool is the best on the planet.

Melton wool is basically wool woven into a twill weave, like denim or serge. It ends of being very strong, thick and dense.

I feel like that cpo is more IH aesthetic than the cruiser, if only one is to make it to production. Horses for courses, obviously.
