    Turtlenecks with matching gloves are the future.  Why do you hate the future?

      I thought that it was probably one item of clothing, that is, the arms ending in gloves….

        Even better.  I can't tell you how often I've thought, "My life is meaningless and empty.  As empty as the ends of my sleeves, which don't have gloves integrated into them."

          How is Denim weighed, i.e…. how does a pair of jeans become 21/23oz?

            @bryaneidins70:

            How is Denim weighed, i.e…. how does a pair of jeans become 21/23oz?

            Fabric weight is measured in ounces per square yard (1 yard X 1 yard of the unseen fabric).

            The denim is 21/23 because "raw", it's weight is 21oz, and after a soak/wash it will be approximately 23oz. These jeans WILL shrink

              what does IH do with all the sample product that we see here on the forum? I thought I saw a few threads where IH put some one offs up for auction, so i'm assuming the majority of pieces go to IH employees, right?

                  All worldwide release samples are made in Large (happens to be mine and Haraki's size, so we can gauge cut).  For non Japanese release items, I either make Large if I need to check out cut, or if I think I will be happy with the cut, I make it in another size so that I can have someone else "test it out"or give it to the person who dreamt up the idea or auction it.  If it is a new denim, I usually give it to someone i know who can trash the shit out of it - me.

                    Is this what a crotch blowout looks like before it actually "blows out"?

                      Nah, threads and fabric are looking solid, it's just a little fraying from your legs rubbing on each other.

                        Not even close. You see broken threads and actual holes appearing long before a proper blowout.

                                  G, did H quietly update the 634S? There are clearly tucked in belt loops on the 634S and 634S-B:

                                        Possibly…..I leave that up to H.  It means a pretty large change to process and has a lot of knock-on implications.
