My wife knows everything, but she also knows the pain I go through to get the cash to do it (Saturday/ Sunday overtime, selling some shit I really don't want to sell etc….). I'm currently stuffed as there is no overtime until August, and I have nothing that I want to sell, so nothing new for ol' Mega on the horizon.

How many of you dudes family members know how much you spend on clothes? Do they understand? Think you're crazy? Want to try it themselves?
No family or friends know so far. Thank god. I get comments from friends that I have a lot of nice clothes, but it's always left at that.
Not married, but I never tell the women I date, either.

Yeah I get comments but always try to keep it at that… Telling my girlfriend all about it was a leap but she understands now

My family and friends have no idea what I spend on clothes. My wife does most of the time. I try to educate all of them on buying quality over quantity and buying something only when the old one is warn out.
Like Mega I tend to sell items (gear and clothes) to fund others. Bonuses from work tend to fund bigger purchases.

If you're single, and spending money you earned yourself, then it's nobody's business but your own. Since I'm not single, my wife knows, more or less. More accurately, she doesn't know the cost of each item to the penny, but she knows ±10% or so. We've discussed discretionary spending many times, as all married couples should, I believe. As a result, she can ballpark my clothes and shoes, and I can do the same for hers.
She outspends me, by the way.

In taking a shine to cowboy boots, nothing crazy flashy justvs good rugged versatile non pointed toe that is built to last. I really am relatively clueless in this area of footwear. Does anyone have suggestions for me to look at? Any info, help or whatever is appreciated
