We have a front loader (always have, top loaders are as rare as rocking horse shit in the UK). Have zero protocol for how we leave the door; open, shut, cracked, whatever, and we have never had a problem with mould....

@northsouthdenimguy seconding this. I had my knee ripped apart in a jiu jitsu match and knees over toes helped tremendously.
He has a back ability zero book that I use also. I did the online coaching thing for a month and wasn’t worth it to me. There are plenty of videos online of how to do the exercises.

Front loader, always on a 30 or 40 degree wash, no issues with things not coming out clean.
The door is shut most of the time and no mould in there.

You can get a top loader with or without agitator. The front loaders do not have agitators.

@Mizmazzle we have an old school “Speed Queen” top loader with an agitator. It’s built like a tank and made to last. Delicate setting has been fine for my denim. I recommend them because they can be repaired. The newer stuff feels to me like they’re made with “planned obsolescence” in mind. Just my 2¢

@SKT we have been looking hard at SQ. I’ve also read that the last 7 years or so the newer builds have had tons of issues and fail a lot. According to Reddit anyways…

We had to replace our washing machine last month, the motor on the old one went after 9 years and pretty much got used every single day, cost us $400 and the repair bill was going to be $900 so a new one made sense

Hey all!
I'm very new to IH stuff, I'm so new in fact that I've yet to buy any IH stuff but I'm trying to figure out which cut works best for me.
I've recently gotten my hands on a pair of engineer boots, Cordobes, so I figure I'd need 9" for the boots to fit. I've worn a Naked&Famous Easy Guy for about six months, it fits but it feels a bit snug? I'm torn between the 888's and the 634's. Maybe its just the stock photo, but i cant decide.
On N&F, my waist size is 33 but I feel I can work with a size 32.

@Chavi_LDV both cuts work great with engineers. 888s will be a bit slimmer but still fit wonderfully over an engineer. The 634 also works perfectly. More a straight leg so a bit wider. All up to you how you like your jeans to fit.

On me the 634s have a low rise, lower than 888.
Im6”2 190 and while I wear both styles I prefer the 888.
So if that doesn’t confuse you enough someone else will chime in to obscure the matter further.
Go by actual measurements and you won’t go wrong with IH. -
@goosehd I once owned an IH zip up and sold it because I MIs sized it. But it was awesome. I'm thinking zip is more versatile also.

Introducing our new jeans! They're the classic 634 style, made with 21oz black selvedge denim, which I don't think we've ever made before! The warp threads are sulfur-dyed black, and the weft threads are off-white, so you can see they're not completely black by looking at the back! The sulfurization process fades the color in the same way as indigo, so whiskers and wrinkles show up perfectly! There have always been quite a few people who love black denim jeans that slowly fade to gray with wear. If I had to say, they're the same as the old Levi's black denim jeans... They just arrived, so they'll be in stores from tomorrow onwards, so please give them a try. I'll definitely buy them! I've always loved the grayish fade.

I specified that denim about 10 years ago. And we made the below out of it.
They sold really badly. Probably because I blacked them out. @Alex and I have been thinking of what to do with the rest of the denim ever since. I guess Harakai got bored of waiting
