@Matt I’ve been wondering about them as I’ve seen them discussed as a fit, but then also see BB (maybe Black warp/Black weft yarn?) as part of several bottoms item codes and wondered if it was a fabric used across multiple fits. Do you (or anyone) have any insight on this? Thanks…

BB in its current iteration is black warp black weft.

@sophisto000 Beatle Busters were a now defunct IH jeans cut.

The lot number was IHxB01-???, where ??? was the fabric. I have the IHxB01-SBG and IHxB01-UHRi n my closet somewhere.

Calling them BB’s was forum slang and predated the «BB» fabric.

@neph93 Thanks for the clarification! What’s the difference between the BB fabric and SBG (which is technically also BB warp/weft, correct?)? Thanks for your patience with my newbiness!!

BB- «14oz black warp/black weft selvedge denim. The warp is black sulphur rope dyed, the weft is black sulphur dipped»

SBG- «This denim has a black sulphur dyed warp and a black reactive dyed weft. With time the warp will fade but the weft won't.»

SBG fades with more contrast. As far as I can recall, SBG has been done in different fabric weights, while BB has been restricted to 14oz so far. SBG has been around for years and years, BB is relatively new.

The creases that define the cowboy hat now would develop through wear as people would use thumb and forefinger on the crown to remove the hat. Later that was put in pre-market to give us what we have today.

My whipcord shorts have the top button sewn on, and I'd like to know if these could be swapped out.

@Alex Hi Alex, I remember the SBG 888s release for Aug., but was wondering if any double sulfur dyed (warp & weft) would be coming out as well, since that fabric has piqued my interest since it came into my awareness. Thanks!

I bought this shirt from eBay. Its a IHSH-330-ODG 9oz Raised Whipcord.

On the ebay photos it didn't look that bad and thought it just needed a good iron, but in hand it has noticeable white crease marks. It looks likes its been washed and left at the bottom of the washing pile. Its a shame as it's a nice shirt and a great fit for me.

Does anyone know if I was to dye it at home it would cover these marks?
Is there a colour that would work best over green?

I've never dyed any clothing before so have no idea what I'm doing, but I read somewhere its relatively easy with a Dylon pod in the washing machine.

                                        Any advice appreciated!

@ironmind you can easily overdye it with some DIY machine fabric dye and they should not be visible anymore. Don't know where you're located but e.g. Dylon should be available in most places. Get the shirt fully soaked in water before.
