      This help?

I prefer the traditional outseam and the train track fades it renders personally; that has never been a point of failure in jeans construction to me so I am skeptical that I would need felled outseams and a vanity selvedge detail.

      Think it, be it.

The OP told me they are Freenote. I just thought it is interesting. I have never seen it before. It would be cool on the overallls, is why I am so interested in it.

Ok, has anyone here ever just gotten in the tub with jeans on, then wear them until dry?? I've done it with a lot lesser denim, but this stuff is a different animal.

I think that is a perfectly legit thing to do, and I know folks have done. I go the less iconic route of soaking then putting on while damp. The end result is the same, but the discomfort shorter [emoji1]

If so, where do you source it? My left knee has worn thin to the point in 2 places where I can see my leg, and then the butt has a hole starting to form, and would prefer to take care of that before you can actually tell its my underwear underneath haha.

@neph93 of course is correct.  Mainly Scarpa Mojito's….

I always use IH denim, but that is because I can. The majority of my jeans are hemmed to 31.5” and the guys always send the cut off. I save them. I don’t necessarily use the same denim for the patch.

At the end of the day, anything with a bit of resilience will do.

What I do is that when they’re about 50% dry on the drying rack is put them on for about 15-30 minutes and then wait for them to fully dry. That gives them the 3D effect and gets your shape in without having to wear wet jeans for an hour.  If you want to do the full on dry more power to you! I’d pick a hot sunny day and start in the morning!

Thanks!! That would be sound advice!! I think wearing them after they are partially dry would do the trick!!

@Bustdnukles I've tried it in the past and ended up with saggy knees as they stretched out too much whilst drying. I suspect there's also more chance of fade shift doing this. Not the end of the world, and they went back after another wash, but I just hang mine out to dry somewhere warm and well ventilated not and put them back on dry.
