I should probably know this by now, but any tips on keeping your cuff creases from blowing out? I cuff all my jeans, and after about a year of wear the fabric breaks down and gets a hole at the crease. [emoji848]

I don’t hate it, but was wondering if there is a technique to slow or stop that process?

Maybe if you occasionally varied the size of the cuff, you wouldn’t always be getting friction in the same spot.

Dirt, grime and debris accumulates in the cuffs and will cause the fabric to break down as a result. At one point I used to uncuff my jeans and use a lint brush to wipe away any debris. That became a pain, and somewhat ineffective, so I stopped cuffing altogether and haven’t looked back.

Varying the cuff point, uncuffing at the end of the day, and regularly cleaning the crap out of the cuff will all slow the process, like the guys say. But as gaseous states, the only way to stop it is not to cuff.

It will always be our pleasure as well, to repair (darn) these for free for you as long as you cover the postage costs to and from us, better yet, we can ship them back for free with an order.

              https://www.ironheart.co.uk/content/wear-and-repair

However, we are currently not accepting any repairs but we can get your name on the waiting list to give you the green light as soon as the workshop is back open after lockdown.

I'm thinking of getting a new phone plan with Sprint and i'm likely going to have to get rid of my iphone 7 and buy a new cell. Since I don't keep up with the many iphone iterations, can any of you tell me what's up with the iphone SE and how it's better or worse than the other iphones out there? I'm sure there are bells and whistles on the SE that are a step up from my iphone 7 and it's only $400. I have no desire to spend $400 on a phone but if it means I don't have to pay a monthly lease then so be it.

If you aren't much of a phone guy about the only things you'll probably notice are; slightly different size, better camera, nicer screen, maybe a bit smoother running.

I am similar to you.  Don't really care about having the fanciest phone so all the little new 'special' features that come out with each new phone are mostly lost on me.

                        The low-tops are on hold.

Coming back to the sneakers, does this mean the high-tops are still on the way? If so, what’s the ETA? And will there be US 13 in the mix?

Yes, we miss @rocket. @Giles was in touch with him in March as Covid was taking off in Europe. He’s alive and kicking and dealing with stuff. He has to prioritise other things than the forum at the moment, as we all do from time to time.

I cuff all my jeans, to the extent that I've stopped getting them hemmed at all. I make sure that the bottom edge of the cuff sits about 1 inch off the laces when I wear boots/cons. I also let the cuff down after each wear. Not had an issue yet. I also wash my jeans fairly regularly, as they're clothes right? I know some folks like to leaves theirs unwashed for ages. If mine are dirty, I wash them. I think that also helps prevent excessive cuff wear, for me anyway.
