      great question @spitfiredealer

the simple answer to your 2 part question is as follows

yes, i have more than one pair of denim.

no, it doesn't bother me to have a couple pairs on deck. i enjoy denim and do not really care about the end result of heavy use. do not get me wrong, i love well-worn denim, but that tends to happen regardless for me when the fit works for my body type. actually, even when my body type doesn't work i tend to hold on (555-02 with like a half dozen repairs)

i enjoy different types of denims and cuts and usually as long as i can clear a transfrisker i hold onto them for a little while. i also tend to purchase denim that is unique enough with or without wear that the difference is evident with or without wear.

Well put @madmonday!  I've always gravitated to items that are rare and unique (which is how I stumbled upon IH in the first place).  Also, for the record, I can't even recall how many pairs of denim I own at the moment  ???

Another vote for @madmonday‘s response. I have a number of pairs in various brands, weights, colours and fits. The hairiness and feel of my Momos, the slub and weft of my XX-014s, the perfect (for me) black colour of my 777S-21BLKs, each is special and unique (to me at least.)

          Works on my machine.

I rotate between 2 pairs. I think I own 12+ pairs of jeans but decided I needed to wear what I have instead of buying more denim that will sit in my closet. Both are showing pretty good evo so i'm gonna beat those into the ground and then start on a new pair from the closet

About 30 pair of Jeans (I lost the overview) in different brands.
When I wear Jeans (I prefer Workpants currently) than is this gear in rotation ->

              1.) 634B&SRAW
              2.) IH-634S-18
              3.) IH-634S-14

I've got 6-7 pairs, though I plan to dump a couple soon.  And yes, it does bother me that I have jeans I never wear.  That's why I talked myself out of buying a pair of natural indigo Sd'A jeans this weekend, even though Self Edge is selling them for more than 50% off original price right now.

Ummm, had to edit this.  I'm weak.  It's shameful.

Has there ever been a world tour for a shirt or jacket? It would be cool to see what we could do to a ihsh-33.

Funny you mention that, I was just thinking the same thing since I have the 888WT jeans right now.
I think it'd be pretty cool.

There was movement for a jacket tour a while ago. Never materialised because of sizing issues. Good idea though.

Evo is even harder to get on a jacket, but I'd love to be in a jacket world tour. Especially if People would add some customisation, like patches, stitching, pins and the like. And as XL seems to be the fastet selling size and happens to be my size as well… 😎

That would exclude me, but I’m more interested in seeing the outcome. A shirt would probably work better though because it is more likely to be wearable year round.

If we planned it correctly we could keep a tour going in such a way that the jacket is in a climate appropriate part of the world at any given time.

Also, if we get enough people who can do XL (lets say 10) then we can just fund our own jacket.

That jacket hasn’t seemed to get a ton of love, and it will fade kinda fast - if we get 12 people to go in together, it would only be like $1/day to wear it - which would be cool

Each member uses it for a time and must ride his bike over to the next member to hand it over. We could probably get both a US and a Euro toured jacket. It would take longer but it would show actual bike evolution.

It's a nice idea but of the 4-5 people who have already signed up, I don't think any of us rides a bike…  :o
