Oh yes 🥳

Is the size chart above accurate for this upcoming restock?
-
@Ross should this say 15:00 BST and not UTC?

Thoughts on what I should order?
As usual I am right between sizes. I am looking for the following:
Waist - 35.5 to 36”
Thigh - 14 to 14.3 ishWould you order a size 36 and ask for the widest thigh possible or order a size 38 with the smallest waist possible based on the recently update size charts.
Another option would be to grab both and see what I get assigned and when they reach out with the specific either only have them ship the best option or just have both shipped and return the one that does not fit. I do live in the US so I believe I would need to pay the return fees.

@Ral1121 Grab your best fitting pair of jeans right now and measure their dimensions (using the IH measuring methods), and go from there. For the 888, I will say you should also pay attention to the knee measurement if you're a larger-thigh guy like me.
Generally, I say go for the larger size though if you're in between. While there will be some give in the denim, I'd rather that that stretch made the jeans more comfortable, rather than make a too-tight pair of jeans just tolerable.

@Ral1121 please email the IHUK crew: shop@ironheart.co.uk for advice on this one. They will be able to work through all of the options with you.

Tag 32 and 33 looks very close. No experience with 888, for those who have both 888 and 634, do you get the same size for both? I have a 33 634 XHSib and it's ok but I know I could still size down, I was able to try a 14oz 1955 and tag 32 feels good. I'd like an 888 that would fit slimmer than my 634.
-
@Kurbrubador 888 will fit slimmer than your 634 by definition, being tapered. There's no practical need to size down in your case. Something tells me that you'll like 888 cut more than 634

-
I would like to know as well.
-
oof yeah this is a tough call between 33 and 34, all my 888 indigos (14,16,21 oz) are 33s but the 888S-21ODs and 888D’s I have in 34. leaning towards 33 but it’s measuring tape time

-
For those saying the 888 will fit slimmer that is only half ways true when comparing to the 634. Especially depending on what length you wear the jeans at. The biggest difference I think is the 888 has more room in the top block due to it being high rise. While the 888 does taper there is not a huge difference when comparing knee width and if you cuff or get your jeans tailored to a shorter length, then there is not as big a difference in hem width. There is still a taper there but not quite as much as the measurements make it out to be I feel. At least this is my perspective. For me, mid rise jeans just do not work because of the room I need in the top block along with thigh size.

@Ral1121 just curious how close you are to an IH retailer. The guidance here is normally find your best fitting jeans, measure using the IH method, and then compare those measurements to the measurements chart. It looks like you have done your homework but may do well to go to a shop and try on different jeans to find your ideal fit. The other option is to start an email dialogue with the staff at IHUK with your measurements in hand. They are really good at helping your work through the process knowing how difficult it is to find a fit from an online retailer.
Even I run into problems on occasion and just double check to see if I’m looking at things correctly. Send them an email: shop@ironheart.co.uk
They know their product better than anyone else and will guide you in the right direction.
