Love Monstress! I bought the hardcover Book 1, which collects the first 3 or 4 trades right before we went into isolation, so it's stuck at my office. But I've read through I think #26, my LSC closed before I could get #27 though I suppose I could order it online…

I am really loving it, too! My local comic shop from when I lived in SF is one of the businesses that I wanted to throw money at during this time, so I got the first four trades shipped over. I’ve been trying to stretch it out, but have read 3 in two days, and will probably finish what I have today.

Well, been busy isolating today.The wheelie bins are cleaned, house is spotless, cars polished, what next!! Thought we’d enter Easter Sunday from the comfort of the garden. The boys are tre excited!! Where the f**k did I put the fire pit!

That's great. Comic Book stores have been hit hard. I ordered myself a ton of comics to get me through. I've been reading Brian K Vaughan's Ex Machina and I've got the third volume of Kelly Sue DeConnick's Pretty Deadly on the way.

I found myself struggling to remember characters and their allegiances (Dusk/Dawn Courts) on my first reading of Monstress. I was looking forward to rereading it.

We have some parts of the lawn that are infested with weeds.  Normally, I would buy some turf, cut out the bad bits and replace them.  But I can't buy turf, so I knocked up a "turf making" thingy out of bits and pieces that were lying around….Day one....

While I have been learning how to bake sourdough bread, Hot Ingrid’s isolation project is knitting. This is her second hat. I hope I’m next but have a feeling small people are in front of me on the queue [emoji53] They’re nice though.

A very dear friend who has known me for 32 years, and maybe knows me better than I know me sent me these today, and very well made. She sent 4 of each, and some to my other half AKA better half.
