@Cole  The same. Kids trying to adjust, fortunately they did want to work at least a bit this morning.

Glad to see that you concentrated on the essentials….

Well, I was going to pick up something to nibble on, but I was under strict orders from Julie not to stop for any strange dosa.

It's great isn't it. If you can have a look at Le Bureau https://g.co/kgs/Mm5RGM Unrelated other than them both being non-English language, but it is remarkable to see how cultural identity affects story telling. BB is clear ond direct and very serious in its communication, while Le Bureau is much more…. French.

My son and I have been doing a lot of board gaming. We can recommend Wingspan (can accommodate several players but works very well for 2), Patchwork (very simple rules, for 2 only), and 7-Wonders Duel (for 2 only, a lot of moving pieces to keep track of).

Still to be tried: Jaipur and Azul.

Nice cookies @sabergirl  but the cookie baking tray looks like it has very old paint on it. It may be lead based paint.

@sabergirl  Take a look at your photo. You can see in the corners the finish is peeling off. Also the finish is off on the edges of the pain. Take a look at it. Years ago they used finishes & paints that they did not know was bad for your health. My grandfather died from lead paint poison.

I’m almost positive that the brown residue you’re referring to in the corners and edges is just old encrusted oil because we don’t scrub our pans very well. But I appreciate you’re looking out for us!
