Thanks @popvulture - "standing seam" metal roofing is definitely the norm around these parts. What they lack in water tightness, they make up for in terms of durability and wind-proofing. Glued and nailed shingles go flying everywhere during 100MHP winds.. if your metal roof comes off, you have bigger fish to fry lol

The hat is great for running errands when I don't want people to talk or come close to me! Being 6'5" without boots helps too, I guess.
The Morrison boots are custom. 10inch height in British Tan. Went with the brown Vibram 700 sole. The western toe was a bit snug for the first couple months but now that I've been wearing them for almost a couple years they fit like a dream.

@Palmer - some shorties on a christy. Won't be everyone's cup of tea, but @Clint_D has a pair of Black boss on a wedge sole that I have lusted over for a while, and wanted something similar I might be able to get away with at work, so mine's a bit dressed up
Should looks smart with chinos especially and I won't have to worry about inky indigo jeans since they will be black…I have a tendency to take an existing patter and tweak it with enough specifics that it's kinda a "Frankenstein" by the end. pumped tho!

thanks Adam. I'll continue to wear it as much as possible, but the weather is taking a turn for the worse and it'll soon be Carhartt season till spring.
