Normally I’d wait about 6 months before a wash. But they was dirty…so F&@? It!

@Twistlock you soak & wash immediately for shrinkage purposes? Did you see a difference in color after the wash or did it look relatively the same?

@Mizmazzle are these pics pre or post wash?

@worn2fade , yes to get shrinkage out of the way. No noticeable color loss.

@Mizmazzle looking good already. I am just over 40 days with mine but they are pretty dirty from all the recent snow and then after that mud and rain we had so probably going to wash them earlier than usual too!

Quick question guys, what is the best way to start wearing these 25oz jeans? Is presoaking the best way to start? Or do i just start by wearing them right out of the bag?

@hugothecowboy I think a lot of people agree the presoak/ wash is important to get all the shrink out before the initial wear. That way if you hem them you know the length will be stable. Also, the combs behind the knees could shift as well if you wear them for a while without having washed at first.

Good point, now does this apply to all jeans or only 25oz ?

@hugothecowboy. It applies for the most part only to the models that are not pre washed at the factory. In the current lineup I think all 25oz and UHR need a soak before wearing. The 21oz, 19oz, 16oz and 14oz are all pretty washed. The 19L is unsanforized but washed.
