Really digging these Undefeated Terra Humara's. Got my lady the olive pair- kind of feel like I'll end up with those also.

@Matt Definitely recommend them! I feel like they work better with my jeans than a lot of sneakers do. Wish it were a wider release beyond Undefeated, would’ve loved to grab another pair on sale at some point.

Thanks @Nik. They really are. I was very surprised to find a pair in my size on Mecari used but in new condition in my size. If you ever see a pair I highly recommend. 1/2 size up.

Hey guys, I have never been a sneaker head and before I startet wearing boots a lot, I mostly had Vans or Chucks. Now I am looking for something for summer to wear with my denim or even shorts.. I have Axel Arigato leather sneakers which look cool but are not that comfy and a bit heavy for low top sneakers and some IH sneakers but for some reason my feet sweat like hell in them...

I had the catch ball picnic (they were perfect) some time ago but had to let them go because they were so dirty and white shoes don't go great with tomato sauce...

I am between:

• Asahi Deck Shoes
• Doek oxfords
• maybe just some vans authentic and replace them when done....

I know there are a lot of other brands but I don't want a second "chuckish" shoe next to my IH sneakers

@FlavourFade just some anecdotal information, but my tattooist was wearing a pair of Asahi deck shoes last time I saw him. I asked him about them, and he said the quality was garbage and he should’ve just grabbed standard Vans. Apparently the rubber started splitting after only a week or so. Make of that what you will!

@FlavourFade the soles on the Vans I've had in the past have always lasted longer than any other sneaker brand I've worn. Can usually find them with a discount if you shop around too!

That being said, I've got a little too used to the running style shoe, and cons/vans feel a bit too flat soled for me, don't find them anywhere near as comfy.

Thanks guys! Maybe I just got caught too much in that "Made in JP" thing but I was so satisfied with my catch balls that I always wanted something similar. But my Vans in the past never let me down tbh.

Maybe I just go look for some good deals

@FlavourFade I love my vans, buy them regularly. I’ve also bought shoes by pottery a couple of years ago and am pretty happy with them so far.

I know there’s a Nike thread but since this one’s active right now I’m putting these here. Nike Vomero 5 Design by Japan. I think they’re sized for women but I don’t care.

@Matt yeah it seems like the sashiko ones are only available via retailers in EU atm and the other ones are not even in the snkrs app so maybe not for EU... But I am not that much into sneakers so maybe totally wrong

The sashiko ones are in eBay, Mercari and Poshmark so I can get them easily. I might wait for the Japan ones to drop though. I like the extra details like the pull tabs oversized swoosh.
