@grapefruit I have a vague memory of @Oaktavia posting side by side pics of three oh his pairs. Can’t remember if XHS was among them but pretty sure XHSib was. May be worth searching the forum

Sorry- just saw this.

Here is my washing data:

Hot soak & hot wash, drip dry 10/27/24
1st soapy soak: 100 wears 4/39/25
1st machine wash: 130 wears 6/28/25
2nd: 168 wears - 9/13/25
3rd: 206 wears - 11/29/25 (photo I posted was taken around here)
4th: 244 wears- 2/16/26
5th: 256 wears- 3/9/26

Anybody hem xhsib where the normally wouldn’t other models like xhs or 21oz
Reason i ask is cause they seem to have the longest inseam of any jeans I’ve bought from iron heart. I usually Japanese cuff my jeans and I’m scared if I Japanese cuff them they will be quite wider than the rest of my pieces.
But I’d probably only be hemming like half an inch maybe an inch. I don’t know if I should even bother. Thoughts ?

@mikemakuch71. Have you already soak them in hot water and washed them? Because you will lose an inch when you do that.

No no, I’m talking about this drop in Tuesday. When I buy them should I hem them? 36.5 inseam is way longer than most 555’s I’ve bought
