Just picked one of these up and surprised how soft it is brand new. This is my first Iron Heart garment and enjoying it so far. Looks great new but can't wait for it to start to break in.

Almost a month of wear and the black is subtly starting to fade in high friction areas. Such a fun jacket to wear!

Congratulations. In my opinion, you made an excellent choice for your first IH purchase. Mine gets more wear than any other jacket in my wardrobe. It looks amazing. It’s a perfect weight. It fits and feels great and it compliments everything.

Yes, the overdyed is so unique I've never seen anything like it. I was going to get an indigo type III, but they were out of stock in my size. I got into Iron Heart to have a small amount of high-quality clothing but didn't realize how fun it would be to track the progress of the fades lol.

Wondering why this type lll, and maybe all of them don't have a hanging loop? I seem to be picking it up off the floor more than I'd like...

@Makarwise a question that comes up fairly frequently and the answer has always been the same.

It’s not going to happen and here is the rationale:

Anyone can make a loop that won't break, but you cant make a loop that won't impart stress to 2 small areas.  The only way of not potentially distorting the fabric is to put it on a hanger (or put it on the back of a chair or chuck it on the floor if a chair can't be found - like me)

Edit: they are not found on IH jackets.

This jacket has been tough to fade. Its still pretty well black but blue is finally starting to peak through in some spots.
