Both colors are cool but if I had to choose i'd go black but only because I think that khaki would show dirt easier

Yea I figured. Had I not been so obsessed with the Camo version I’d own the gray for sure. I tend to be the black sheep taste-wise. My favorite items invariably end up in the outlet.

I think a much darker gray would have been a better choice.
That being said, a dark gray would be great
Technically, the 'black' whipcord IH uses IS charcoal…
Darker lining, snapped placket, slimmer body, more shapely collar > N-1
Hand-warmer pockets > B-2
(IMHO)

Tried this on at Self Edge and couldn't leave without it. I'm hoping to get a few weeks of wear before it gets too warm.

This jacket is on my radar. Really like the black version but the whipcord pea coat that’s coming out in the Fall may edge this one out

@chech69 I saw the Gillie and Marc sculptures, and wondered how you weren't dying of heatstroke, as most of their pieces are located in Australia.
