One part cement plus one part lime to six parts soft sand….(approx.....), but I want the jointing to be fairly close to the slab colour, so we will alter as necessary....

The acid test and something that Les and I were a little worried about.  Glad to report, not a slab moved….

I've only got Les 2 days a week at the moment, so things are going slower than I like.  But today we started pointing the slabs and I am over the moon with the result….

I am an inveterate horder of stuff that may come in useful.  These 19th Century granite blocks have been lying around for years waiting for me to think of something to do with them.

Well, I have some ideas (helped by @Madame Buttonfly's dictat "I down want any piles of fucking shite lying around here when you've finished the extension"), first of them….
