BS-10 - GOOD ART HLYWD Model 10 Bracelet
-
We have received a big delivery from GOOD ART of Model 10 in almost all sizes, see here: https://ironheartgermany.com/collections/good-art-hlywd

@Chibs the jacket is still perfect on my arms, thank you. Hasn't had a huge amount of action due to weather recently. Certainly would be rocking vest version (if it was in stock), looks great on you. Would be helpful if there was a picture of the different model 10 sizes for comparison, I think the 4a would be the one for me.
-
@Chibs thank you kindly for finding that picture, exactly what I was after. I'm assuming the smallest is the 4a size. Never say never at my next IHUK visit, just waiting for top of my list item to get restocked (would be bumped 2nd if vest turned up lol) ..Chibs is the man!

I have a question. How to you guys size those? Just a bit bigger than the actual wrist size?. My wrist size is 19.1 centimeters for reference.
-
We always advise measuring your wrist low and snug and then choosing the size closest to that measurement. A 17cm Model 10 won't measure/have an internal diameter of 17cm; it will be about 2cm bigger and then will fit how Good Art intends on a 17cm wrist: not too loose or too snug. Then, you can go up and down for personal preference.
-
@Graham thanks Graham! I think we have almost the same wrist size and taste for how these should fit. Also have the exact same tattoos. Mine just need to be imagined.
Are you able to put inner circumference measurements in your size chart? If not I’m sure there’s a good reason why. Maybe size variation between batches?

@Chibs Congrats! Looks great, and always nice to hear about solid customer service!
My understanding with all GAH bracelets is that the measurements are supposed to be your actual wrist measurements, not the size you would like your bracelet to be. The needed additional length for appropriate droop is factored in by GAH. This is why their product pages list measurements as "wrist size" and not bracelet size. You could translate this as "choose this size if you have a 17cm wrist."

Thank you much @Graham

@Go-For-Chill My understanding as well when I asked GAH directly.

Yea, that's exactly what's going on. But not everyone who buys a Model 10 is going to want it to fit that loose. Just like not everyone wants their jeans or shirts to fit too big.
In my case (and I'm guessing some others too), it would be better to have the actual measurements and go by personal preference. Not necessarily how someone else thinks it should fit. Hey, it's my money that's being spent, no?
It's obvious by the lack of official response from Iron Heart that they don't feel this way, or perhaps their hands are tied. In any case, I won't push the matter further.
At the end of the day I'm totally distracted by the impressively good art on my wrist!
Despite it fitting "inappropriately small". -
@Chibs That’s a great example of why we all prefer companies with good customer service over ones that do everything “perfectly.”
Yours does look pretty damn amazing! I’m jealous. I’ve been wanting the 4A version for a long time.

@Go-For-Chill thanks man!

@Chibs exactly this !
just let the customer decicde how they want to fit their own wrist with actual internal measurements rather than pushing "this is how the brand intended to fit" - saves a lot of time and money for both the customer and the retailer when a potential return can be prevented in the first place.
end of the day every person have their own "best fit" of not too tight, not too loose
