BS-10 - GOOD ART HLYWD Model 10 Bracelet
-
Go with the B, I was worried it was going to be too big and heavy, but it's not, it's really awesome. I have a 7 - 7.5 inch wrist,, the 13 link, which is between 17cm and 18cm fits great.
-
Just received my AA and it's an absolute beast! I have a Hermes chain d'ancre GM and it pales in comparison both in heft and comfort.
16.5cm wrist, I tried the 17cm sizing on the IH website which corresponded to 16 links but it was so tight I couldn't get it past my wristbone. I ended up exchanging for the 18cm/17 link version and it fits perfectly; it doesn't slide around too easily thanks to the weight.

Went on a bit of a ride with this one.
First off, as I said before - I'm not in the habit of buying jewelry but thought the model 10 clasp was cool! It also happened to be our wedding anniversary. (18 years!) I bought her some really nice earrings but when she asked me what I wanted I figured why the hell not!
So it gets here, I take it out of the box and wow!!The only problem was it was too big for my liking.
When I measured my wrist I got a bit over 7" so according to the guide I should get 18cm which is 16 links in size A. I only had this on long enough to know it was uncomfortably long. It moved around too much and into the top of my hand. I get that people including the owner of Good Art like that type of fit. It's just not for me. Too much of a physical distraction. So I quickly packed it back up, opened up a chat bubble with Graham and initiated a return through their new portal. within an hour I had it @ UPS and GoSport had it back in 2 days!
Now I ordered the next size down (17cm) because 16cm was sold out. I wasn't sure that it would be too big as well so Graham measured the inside circumference of the 17cm and it was 19cm. I took a usb cable and measured 19cm and it felt perfect on my wrist. Not too tight nor loose.
So Today UPS dropped off my replacement and it's perfect now. Fucking perfect!
As you can see, there's still room for it to slide up and down my wrist but not like it was before! I've only been wearing it for a day but so far I'm smitten.
It's got some great heft to it but at the same time feels really comfortable. Size A was the right move. It just feels and looks amazing. There's this satisfying visual Pop whenever I look at it. So hard to explain but I now get why people go crazy over this stuff. So the size up's physical distraction has been taken care of, but there's definitely a visual one now because I can't stop looking!!
It's got better contrast than my Sub and seems to outshine it!
Thanks again @Graham for smoothing out what could have been a bumpy ride. I feel like you guys should add "inner circumference" measurements to your size guide with these bracelets. Seriously, you measure your clothes so well, this type of thing should get similar attention imo. May help people understand what they're getting into better.
So yea, in any case, I fricken love this thing! Best thing award!!!

@Chibs good read! It’s truly a great bracelet and probably a grail piece for a lot of people in this group (me included)
And I agree, the more information and better understanding of fit and feel would help immensely when ordering something in this price range online, and for alot of over seas people international.
Maybe make a size chart that’s measured more accurate for different fits and feels. Like some companies go beyond for their customers. Like if you want the standard (how it’s meant) order this size, over
Sized buy this one and for a snug fit order this.So having the inside circumference would help customers dial in the fit for their liking.
Either way, great it was a happy ending for you, it looks great and its a truly beautiful piece!🤍

@mecken88 Thanks man! It’s tough knowing how something like this is going to fit. Even tougher knowing if you’re going to like the way it fits and feels from a practical sense. Soooo subjective! I think had I known the inner circumference to begin with, I probably would have ordered this 17cm size but who knows? I read this entire thread a couple of times over and that post by Ironheart Germany with a similar size wrist and model A was pretty much my experience.
I feel like Ironheart is going by the artist’s intent with how to size. This may be fine for 99% of their customers and I may be that 1%. Who knows? In any case I think it definitely wouldn’t hurt to have inner circumference measurements on their size chart and let us decide. In the end, this size feels waaay more comfortable for me personally and it only set me back an extra $35 in shipping so I’m happy! -
@Chibs great post, and really great you've shared your experience in aid of helping others. The smaller size is spot on and what a peice on your wrist. A lovely gift from your wife. I've been eyeing up bracelets for a while, I will certainly be going for a smaller link and if I go with an IH stock I do have the benefit of trying on sizes in person.

We have received a big delivery from GOOD ART of Model 10 in almost all sizes, see here: https://ironheartgermany.com/collections/good-art-hlywd

@Chibs the jacket is still perfect on my arms, thank you. Hasn't had a huge amount of action due to weather recently. Certainly would be rocking vest version (if it was in stock), looks great on you. Would be helpful if there was a picture of the different model 10 sizes for comparison, I think the 4a would be the one for me.
-
@Chibs thank you kindly for finding that picture, exactly what I was after. I'm assuming the smallest is the 4a size. Never say never at my next IHUK visit, just waiting for top of my list item to get restocked (would be bumped 2nd if vest turned up lol) ..Chibs is the man!

I have a question. How to you guys size those? Just a bit bigger than the actual wrist size?. My wrist size is 19.1 centimeters for reference.
-
We always advise measuring your wrist low and snug and then choosing the size closest to that measurement. A 17cm Model 10 won't measure/have an internal diameter of 17cm; it will be about 2cm bigger and then will fit how Good Art intends on a 17cm wrist: not too loose or too snug. Then, you can go up and down for personal preference.
-
@Graham thanks Graham! I think we have almost the same wrist size and taste for how these should fit. Also have the exact same tattoos. Mine just need to be imagined.
Are you able to put inner circumference measurements in your size chart? If not I’m sure there’s a good reason why. Maybe size variation between batches?
-
@Chibs Congrats! Looks great, and always nice to hear about solid customer service!
My understanding with all GAH bracelets is that the measurements are supposed to be your actual wrist measurements, not the size you would like your bracelet to be. The needed additional length for appropriate droop is factored in by GAH. This is why their product pages list measurements as "wrist size" and not bracelet size. You could translate this as "choose this size if you have a 17cm wrist."

Thank you much @Graham

@Go-For-Chill My understanding as well when I asked GAH directly.
