I Normally aim for a 46" chest in the denim jackets but I think I'm going w/ the XXL (43" in) in this as I cant envision ever actually buttoning it and the shoulders of the XXXL are wy too big for me.

Seeing Courtney, who is usually 1 size larger than me, pull the XX off so well pushed me into it.

I would love to own this jacket, but a 48 chest is the bare minimum for me with no layering. I guess I could try the Snafu approach.

Is the size chart in the OP current? Love this jacket, but the chest sizing was a fatal flaw last time. Hopefully this version is more in-line with other versions
