IHSN-01 - Low Top Sneakers in 21oz Selvedge Indigo, 21oz Superblack, 21oz White

Do any of you IHSN-01 owners have a pair that causes part of the denim behind the toe cap (in front of the first eyelets) to rub down against the tops of your toes? Mine do this and it is slightly uncomfortable. Just wondering if this is a me thing or a feature of the shoe itself.

Yes, essentially the tongue is bunching up, even if I pull the tongue up when lacing. It slides down, kind of like how with converse shoes, the tongue can slide to the sides easily and not stay centered. It may be because I chose the last 12, which was a half size too big. I tried a few different pairs of insoles and it still happens. Maybe I just don't have the right size after all.

@Oaktavia yeah maybe the extra space is allowing the tongue to move around a bit too much and bunch up...
Wondering if maybe it might be possible to add a few stitches to connect the tongue to the body of the shoe? Keep in in place permanently...

I was thinking about something I could do to mitigate this but I wasn't sure how to go about it. Because otherwise, the shoes fit just fine.

Both my pairs, indigo and duck don't do this and the tongue stays in place all the time ..

My garden is getting taken over by weeds and a short walk around it ended up with my sneakers tightly covered by these clingy seeds. Each one of them betting on the chance my sneakers would give them a ride to a new virgin garden waiting to be colonized by them.
