So how soft do the Wills jackets actually get after some good usage? Obviously it's extremely stiff new, and I know it'll break in but can anyone tell me if they get "soft" and comfortable? It's almost hard to imagine considering how thick and rigid that material is. I've got some well worn waxed jacket from other brands that are soft but they aren't as thick as the Wills.

Yo my V2 Ship John jacket is already in production! It was not due until August 2024. I was reading their email newsletter and went to check my number. Turns out I missed an email from September 7 saying mine was ready and they would not start the jacket until I confirmed. Sweating bullets at this point, I called them. The dude was super chill and said I did not lose my spot in line. An invoice will be sent today or tomorrow. Phew!
I ended up selling my V1 as it felt I was just a tad too big. Hopefully the V2 with a size down will be perfect from XXL to XL. The guy on the phone said it would likely work out fine. Stoked!

@SKT I really could not believe my eyes when I saw the email was from last month. So happy they picked up when I called. They said November-ish it'll be shipped. Made my freakin' day man.

@Mizmazzle Mine is G30-02 so you might not be that far behind. Like I said, mine is 11 months early. Totally threw me off. Just paid my second half this morning, it was $313 total.

I’m G42, ordered last December and the quoted time was August of 2025. I’ll be very pleased if it’s a year or so early. I managed to snag a seconds of the Ramblin vest they had on sale months ago, it’s inanely well built and I honesty can’t find anything that would make it a seconds.
I’m really hoping Mike pulls through with the Sashiko, I’d pay good money for one.

My V2 Waxed Wills jacket shipped yesterday! Feckin' WHOOOOOOO!!!! The only problem will be choosing which jacket to wear each day. From my slubby T2, Lefty, Extractor and now the Wills, I guess I can spin a wheel or something...BUT I think I could possibly wear my T2 under the Wills if the fit allows it. That would be rad. OK random stream of consciousness over.
