@Mister_Brue haha...I've made this very statement about 5-6 times over the last 6 weeks or so...freaking non stop heat dropping!

In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...

Very difficult decisions lie ahead. 888 ducks, this CPO, 21oz sashiko, orange UHF, or something entirely different? Can’t have them all. I‘ll probably end up buying whatever is in stock by the time the party rolls around

I have never done the snaps upgrade before is it pretty simple process to add to my order? Any info to guide me through it would be much appreciated.

Would love to grab one of these when they drop, but the sizing isn’t going to work for me on this one ☹️

@clutchdealer when you have added the shirt to your cart you will see the option to “upgrade snaps” on the cart screen before you pay. You just have to click the link and select the snaps you wish to upgrade to. It may be worth discussing with the IH guys about upgrading the Untucked though as it already has the larger copper snaps.. if you pimped to a smaller diameter snap I’m pretty sure you will see an indentation ring in the fabric from the larger snaps around your new smaller one. I hope that makes sense

@DeeDee85 has pretty much got this sorted for you.

You can also just navigate to this page and add this to your cart:

                  https://www.ironheart.co.uk/pimping/ih-heavy-snap.html

If you order a shirt and a snap upgrade we assume that the snap upgrade is for the same shirt on the order. Please note that once snap upgraded the shirt will be non-returnable.

Which snaps are you thinking? To be honest, the copper snaps that are stock are THE snaps for this shirt, anything else has a slightly smaller diameter and des drastically change the look of the shirt and there is also the chance of the larger copper snaps leaving a little ring mark in the fabric from the rim of the previous snap as you are going from bigger to smaller.

                  🤘

@Graham I was thinking of getting the brass snaps. I definitely wouldn’t go with anything other than either the brass snaps over the copper.

@Graham I saw from back in Oct 2017 on this thread that Alex had swapped out the copper to brass snaps and I really liked the look of those snaps. But if you think its not going to look right I definitely will take your advice.

I feel like brass snaps would probably look pretty cool @clutchdealer and they’re just as big as the copper ones, for sure.

@clutchdealer I was also checking the whole thread, but found only one guy posted a picture (too dark and too far away to check out well) with the brass hardware. I wonder personally if it would look too much "shiny gold" colour for my taste, while the copper has more or less the same tone as the fabric...

A Good Art/IH brass snap collaboration (bit like the snaps on the IH/GA Primaloft Vest) would be sweet for pimping items like this.

@sabergirl Alex posted a picture way way back at the beginning of this thread with the brass snaps and they looked really good color wise and size wise. I am still undecided if I am going to swap them out. I have the whole weekend to think about it. Probably the highlight of my weekend lol I feel so old now

Curious how people are sizing this CPO. Did you stay close to your typical work / western dimensions, or size up to wear it as a jacket with a shirt underneath? I’m seeing a little bit of each in the comments and can’t be sure what’s the proper way to go.

Stopped by SF self edge today with my wife. She picked up a 3sixteen type 3(16.5oz) fits her perfectly, also wifeys first piece of selvedge. Anyway this beautiful CPO shirt caught my eye, tried it on and fits like a glove. Size large jus happened to by one on the rack. I decided not to pull the trigger and purchase. Now I’m stuck wishing I did, but there’s 4 larges left in stock. So I’ll probably roll back next weekend and snag it. I should know by now there's no such thing as browsing at self edge lol.
