Giles's Kanreki Weekend - Gosport - 16th/17th September 2017

I'll be there @trail and arrow - though, alas, not staying at the Spring Garden this time round.  Jen and I are in the Premier Inn.  Arrive around lunchtime Saturday, then heading off on Sunday afternoon (assuming the trains play ball).

As @rocket says, he knows where the booze is.  But I could always be persuaded to put in a guest appearance behind the bar…

Well, it apparently only takes 42 minutes to drunkenly stagger the 2.1 miles, so faster than waiting for the taxi, then.

I'm looking forward to returning to Gosport, for this occasion. I arrive very early the 14th at Heathrow, and then staying at one of the Holiday Inns in Portsmouth.

For those who'll be around on Friday night, hopefully you saw that we're not organising anything for dinner but we will meet up at The Victualler bar from 20:30.

I'll post a map later showing key locations.

For places to munch on Friday evening, there are loads of eateries across in Gunwharf Quays (Portsmouth), and a few places in Gosport - drop me an email if you want suggestions and/or want to know who will be in town that evening, so that you can group up.

And in any other news.  I have brought forward the release date of the IH-179 - Kanreki Shirt, to 11th September at 16:00 BST.  I thought we should get them out of the way or our guests would be spending the whole week end packing shirts….

I once had a mate who was working in the PO office of one of the big players in the record industry. And whenever there was something interesting to be sent out, he got some mail in the following days…
