There's no Such Thing as a Stupid Question

Really digging those boots Reuben; the toe, the heel, the sole, the leather….they remind me of TBWE-PO that I bought from IH. They look stellar boss!
These are a custom build, but ordered through Giles. The burlap pull ups were absolutely an inspiration. When they came out I thought they were gorgeous, but at the time most of my jeans had a relatively narrow hem and I was a bit worried about the straps interferring with that. My recent pairs have a wider hem so that turned out to be irrelevant, but I'm also a fan of the MP toe. In addition, the BOBRN arrived and I loved the triple stitching so had to have that.
I started playing around with Wesco's custom build tool and bothering Giles at the same time and came up with these. Second time I've done it. While it's a little scary because you can't be sure of the results IRL, it's worked out well both times. It'll probably be happening again soon [emoji15]

Although it is a suggestion and not a question, I still thought of posting here.
As a 5'8 guy, I think it would be nice if we had a couple of photos of @Winchy (I think he is around the same height) in all IH tops. Since both Sam and Giles are 6'2, I thought it would it would help if we had someone in IH clothes with a different physique.
@Winchy How easy or hard is it for you to find to IH shirts with your shoulder and sleeve measurements? Thanks!

I believe Patrick (smaller guy) is a model in some of the fit pics and quite a few of the videos and he rocks the shit out of his IH gear.

I don't find it difficult at all to find the right fit in IH shirts but I do tend to go for work shirts as the extra taper at the Waist of western cuts often doesn't work 'cos of my beer belly. The sleeve and body length are only usually an issue if trying westerns and I size-up to get the right fit across the width of the shirt as the length can then sometimes leave it looking like a dress….

i'm not sure if this has been asked. but it popped into my mind the other day. what's the deal with VAT or VAT returns for customers in regards to shopping at ihuk (both website and in store)?
from what i believe so far, i know that a company/shop has to be registered for it (i think?) in which you guys are not.. am i right?
-
We are registered for VAT.
Here is our position regarding online sales:
"We do not refund VAT I am afraid. We had a choice when determining our pricing policy either to price high and refund VAT for non-European Union customers or price lower and not refund the VAT.
We decided on balance that having our retail price as low as possible and the same for all our customers worldwide was the simplest approach."
We give personal visitors a pretty decent discount anyway…..

@Ivan is pretty small and @Adam is not massive - more shots of them will be appearing, but it is a big big job to go and retro…
Yes, and it would be asking for too much. I would be happy if the numbers next to each person's vitals also mentioned the sleeve length that fits them perfectly.
On a different note, wouldn't short sleeve shirts fit a larger group of people?

[Can I do this in a country like India with its heat and humidity? Thanks
I know India is more humid that Okinawa, Japan (Which is pretty damn humid, might I add), so outside of sealing them in air-tight containers, I don't see any way possible.
I literally lost 10-20% of my wardrobe once in Okinawa, because I traveled for work for 30 days… When I got back home, a much of my stuff was mildewed and moldy. Basically, anything that was "dark colored", including leather shoes/boots.
Terrible experience.](https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1)

We went through this convo about 2-3 years ago, after a batch of UHF's Sewed up with shorter sleeves. Some people REALLY liked them, but the general consensus was that it's far better to sew shirts with longer (Standard) sleeve lengths, that to make them shorter. That way, if a person has shorter arms, they can do a warm or hot wash to shrink them down. But, if on the other hand shirts were sewn with shorter sleeve, there would be many people who are left out from buying shirts at all, because there is no way to "stretch" the sleeve length.
Not to mention, Iron Heart is a "functional motorcycle clothing" brand. One reason the sleeves are longer, is because when riding a bike, the riders arms are stretched out front, which causes the sleeves to ride up the arms. Longer sleeves prevents that from happening, or makes it less drastic.
So, "long story short" (Get it? LMAO!), longer sleeve lengths is the best solution for all parties.
