You’ll lose an inch in those sleeves once you set some creases in the arms.

I was expecting the sleeves to gain length over time since leather can stretch.  Can anyone share pictures of this jacket with set creases in the sleeves?

@kujo Here is a picture of a member’s @Dishelveled jacket and the link to his post.  It’s a pretty good illustration of how the creases set in the arms and how you lose length overall.

Can’t speak to this particular leather, but they say with horse and steer it can be over an inch of loss sometimes. Def won’t get any longer

My wife got me this jacket for my birthday. It is amazingly warm and heavy and I love it.

One thing I noticed (which I'm not sure is to spec) is a couple of the button holes seem unfinished, almost as if they weren't cut to the same size as the others and without brown finishing thread holding together the layers around the button hole. Those button holes are very difficult to button since it seems they're not fully cut. Has anyone experienced that?

Sure. Here's a comparison between some buttonholes that look unfinished (to me) and finished. The unfinished buttons are very difficult to button up and seem to have some inner layer coming out.

Here's a shot of the jacket as a whole.

I dont think those are "unfinished", I think some of the interlining (the white stuff) has not been cleaned up properly.n Try cutting the white threads away and see what happens, the buttonhole should be fine…..

I cut away the hanging threads. It's still quite difficult to button those buttons (maybe the holes aren't as wide as the others), but I assume they'll loosen up over time.

For what it is worth, I checked my jacket and those same button holes look the same.  Interlining showing through.  As Giles said, ease of buttoning gets easier with use and time.

I just received mine a couple days ago and i have the same white treads on the same two holes.

And the first time it was almost impossible to get it buttoned up but Graham ensured me it’ll get easier with time and it’s getting easier already with only a couple wears.

I really love the jacket and the ordering and size checks through emails were perfect, love the service you get.

I was kind of in between a size L and XL so Graham picket me the size L with the biggest shoulder measurements as that was the main reason to consider an XL.

                                  Perfect fit now.

Ive had mine since the summer last year. The buttons get a lot easier to use with time, the leather softens a bit as well. My example is slightly on the large size on the body which allows for layering, looks fab with a UHF underneath.

I am new proud owner of this beautiful jacket. I have trouble buttoning the jacket. The holes and buttons seem very stiff. Is this normal? Any advice on how to button the jacket?
