Want these so bad. I’m typically 34 in most IH cuts like 888 or 666 and usually 35 or 36 in 777. How does these relate to what you guys are wearing? Thx

@Denimhead-0. They are closer to a 634 than any other cuts. Size wise for me, i took the same size as my 634 and the fit was spot on. I see that you are familiar with the 888's. I will take the same size as the 888's of course always considering the actual measurement.

@Denimhead-0 I find that all my jeans end up with a 33” waist. Including these.

Spot on information! The 822’s are just like a pair of any of your favourite 634’s, 666’s, etc. in 21oz that will stretch with wear and time (waist) and should be treated as such. You should get an 1” or 1.5” stretch in the waist with that wear.
As always, it isn’t an exact science and may vary with how much pressure is exerted on the waistband. Great advice @Mizmazzle @yannis

@Denimhead-0 I agree with the above, I have 36” 555-21 and 777-14 and these are 36 as well. I’ve always had a little bit of tightness in those cuts, whereas this cut is perfect! I plan to get 634 next. Whether 21 or 14. I haven’t decided.

Sometimes I think about entering myself, but I’m always too excited to get my new jeans to wait even an extra second to start wearing them.

@Mister_Brue that’s a great strategy. I have a UES Tricotine that’s been iced in my closet for next fall because I got 3 other indigo shirts right at the same time.
In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...

@JunkPants it’s a sweet shirt for sure! But then Iron Heart has a way of making everything else take a back seat.

@Mizmazzle had the tricotine shirt a while ago. Great shirt and fast fader but like you said, when you have IH stuff, everything else just don't really compares anymore... Maybe with some exceptions

@Daniel-San I misspoke about the height of the belt loops. I became curious and measured my 888s and then my 822s. The height is indeed longer on the 822s than other jeans I own.
The height from the top seam to the bottom of the belt loop attachment is 2 inches on the 888s. The 822s is .25 inches longer at 2.25”.
Just a little bit of technical data on the belt loops as discussed several posts up from this one.
