saw this running through the airport in greensboro & thought of this place for some reason:

i wanted to touch them to see how useful the display was, but it was sectioned off & i didn't want to get beat up or striped searched by TSA agents.
on second thought maybe the stripe search wouldn't have been so bad

Well, Cone Mills is in Greensboro, so that sort of makes sense, but dear lord is that ugly.

^Not sure what that means. I'm not from Greensboro but living here isn't that bad. However, I cannot defend the hideous upholstery and I agree they should be burned.

I couldn't get a photo to do this sterling Namiki pen justice, but this Japanese rollerball pen is embossed body and cap with a samurai shogun in the fashion of Japanese woodblock prints.

feel crappy posting this after the beauty above, but you know
random mug stolen from momma monday.
she gives me the bizness every time she visits & sees her mug, i always tell her it's so she feels at home. swear the mug has to be at least 30 years old. Amazing even cheap things were made to last back in the day, but don't get me wrong I wouldn't trade now for anything -
