The regular superblack is for sure. I'm fairly certain that I read somewhere on the forum that the reason is that the non-selvage denim is woven on a different loom (obviously) and that is why the denim isn't nearly as soft. Maybe that means the selvage version might be softer?

Just asked for the following sample.

Double elbow work shirt in the style of the IHSH-30.

Indigo dyed chambray (about 8 or 9oz is my guess).

White cats eye buttons.

White needle thread and pale orange bobbin thread.

Any updates regarding this sample, Giles?
I am sure you have time to think about a handy fisherman's shirt at the moment .
