Beige weft would make for a slightly more versatile color IMHO but I guess it all depends what's done with the fabric. We'll wait & see.

grey could be better - the color in the weft seems to have a big effect on how "streaky" a denim gets and the black 21oz has much more prominent streaking/patches than the indigo does.

Wouldn't grey be somewhat similar to the SBG denim? I know the weft on that is black as well but feel like beige would be a better contrast.

The SBG is black reactive dyed weft and sulphur dyed warp….

Grey rope dyed Warp/black Reactive Dyed Weft (grey yarn will fade, the black won't)

IH-526S-14 - Modified Type III in 14oz selvedge
IH-777S-ABC - The ABC is a Pseudonym for a retailer.  777 cut in 21oz SBG with all tonal stitching (inc arcs and "W") and charcoal herringbone pocket bags…..

I've changed the title of this thread as my posts don't always come with pics.....

Any update on the 777 sbg?
