Pretty certain that's because the classic N1 deck jacket that this is based on, doesn't, but I'm sure G can provide the correct answer.

I've used a little bit of LP on the leather zip pull on an IH sweatshirt and it works well/protects the leather.

What does the drawstring acutally do? My Deck Jacket is pretty Slim on the hips already…does it really add functionality?

@Max Power I guess it is for narrow-waisted people like me with a significant gap between hips and opening from which warmth tends to escape

2.) The drawstring looks sexy
3.) You can fix 'things' on it … a bottle opener for example
4.) Customizing is cool
5.) You have a string with you (MacGyver mode)
6.) ...
