Congrats to all! Really wanted a large navy, but I'll have to enjoy the pics and wait for the next iteration!

So comparing the XL and the L today as I had a bit of time to mull it over..I can layer better in the XL (jumpers etc if required) but the sleeves are way too long and material is bunched at my bicep. The L still sits on jean pocket level and is otherwise much more fitted. Hurm! I'm sending one back tomorrow and I'm leaning towards the L but experiencing last minute doubt (read: all weekend decision!)

I find the L suits you better. Good length, perfect sleeves. Deck jackets should look fitted (but not tight off course)…

L looks good especially considering that the jacket will never be hot washed/shrunk because of the wool and alpaca blend lining.

I rarely recommend the smaller size in scenarios like this, but in this case, I'd say get the Large.  It looks like it give you room to wear it over other things and I'd a better fit overall.

Pretty certain that's because the classic N1 deck jacket that this is based on, doesn't, but I'm sure G can provide the correct answer.

I've used a little bit of LP on the leather zip pull on an IH sweatshirt and it works well/protects the leather.
