Southwest Airlines of the US has a terrible seating policy. No assigned seats, kind of a free for all with line position determining your privilege. Don't like it a bit.

Some of the European budget airlines used to do it that way as well, and in some countries - where the concept of queuing was not widely practiced - the boarding process resembled a mosh pit. As a result, most budget airlines have gone back to pre-assigned seats.

In other news, I'm loving Madmondays rants! Balancing a good rant with a touch of comedy is a beautiful thing.

AT&T Uverse service has been failing sporadically since yesterday afternoon.  That means no tv, which annoys the kids, and no internet or phone service, which effectively shuts down Julie's business, since she works from a home office.  The online troubleshooting service told me we need a service tech, and gave me a number to call to set up the appointment.

The number is for the Trump Taj Mahal reservation desk.

Damn, I hate AT&T.

It's cool… Thanks though guys... It's always been thet way with heavy rain so I've got the pumps to handle it but it's a real pain in the ass that I'd just rather not HAVE to deal with. Nothing really ruined and the rain has stopped so all is well. Just boots get the dehumidifier running now and things will be all sorted out.

Gonna be a long day on two hours sleep though. Doh!

In 3 weeks I'm moving here, and not moving again for a long long time!!! I hate moving! At least its not from one state to another this time, those are worst.
