        Got water in my Seiko Solar Tuna whilst diving. Bezel was not screwed in tight....What a prat.......

        Have left it with the bezel completely unscrewed for a few days, but I suspect it is history.....

          @Giles Fcuk…possible to have it sent in for repair? There are a few places that deal with older watches and Seiko may even do it…

            Possible I guess. But its saltwater and solar digital movement. Sounds like recipe for disaster.

            I tried to get the back off to let it dry out, but tools limited here 🙂

                Yeah, I do. Sorry. There’s rice here, just need to see if I can find a zip bag or the like. Thanks

                  Found a box which held random scuba fittings....I took it to the kitchen, showed them the box, and before I could say anything, they said, "you need rice?" Obvs not the first prat they have had staying here....

                    Maybe you have a rubber ball or a turned inside out tennis ball handy.

                      @iammortalcombat man that is lousy.

                      The one thing I’ll say is that I had a relationship end at 41 as well. At that point, every single one of mine had a big red flag that I identified early on and should’ve just bailed over, but I stuck with them and those red flags were always the thing that caused the relationship to fail. Obviously it wasn’t all them — I brought my own baggage as well.

                      I know it sounds like yours was more peaceful than that, but the silver lining I’ll add is that at this point, you probably know yourself better than ever and know what you want. Whenever you end up back in the dating pool, don’t settle for anyone you can’t be yourself around, and don’t gloss over any big issues that jump out. Move on, don’t settle, and you’ll find who’s best.

                      The reason I say all this is that I ended up in far and away the best relationship I’ve ever been in — the true love of my life — and we’re five years in, strong as ever. The ideal situation for you is out there! Hope you feel better soon-ish, man. I know it takes a little bit.

                        Woke up and checked the cameras at home this morning. This is when I discovered that tonight's storm has knocked over one of our trees in the garden. Still waiting for the neighbours to come up with photos of the whole damage. Hedge and fence probably took a big blow, too.
                        To make matters worse, this has happened on the side of the garden where we were trying to shield off the neighboring property which is being redeveloped. Six years after planting the trees, we finally thought this summer they'd be tall enough so we don't see anything of the three storey building they are planning there.
