So I had to give up on the 634SII and got myself a pair of these. I am so glad I did as they fit beautifully. Just need to do a first wash, but I am wearing them for a bit before I do, just my thing. LOVE this denim, I think it is one of IH best, be it all of IH denim is amazing.

Thats a great find! I just ordered a pair from SE. @Appfaff tempted me with his 18oz version. The measurements seem perfect as I can't really do a 666 cut. I might even go for the OD version as well.

I think I will. The measurements are very 888 esque, i.e. good thighs with a taper. It's just that bottom opening sometimes is too narrow. But I think the OD's are on deck… I might just be a bit more patient to see the measurements on the 888 version and compare.

I lucked out and found a pair of the 18oz overdyed in a 40 waist on eBay for a reasonable price.  They fit great.  The cut is definitely a winner.

I’m thinking about getting a pair of these from the SE warehouse sale. How much do they shrink/stretch? The size 29 633 in the 21oz denim fits me really well, but I was thinking about sizing up to a 30 for any shrinkage.

The SE sale was pretty hard to pass up. I went in, and I'm pretty excited for both the Indigo indigo and the tonal! I've never had full tonal or 18oz before, and this looks pretty special.

Cut appears to be a slightly slimmed down 888?

They look good and the fit looks really comfortable. I havent checked measurements but the pattern looks a hair tweaked from my 633s…. but the overall silhouette is very similar. I wore mine for years before a crotch repair and still break them out on occasion. They are my most faded pair of IronHeart by far and I’d buy them again if I didnt have 2 pairs that need wear first!

Mos def the most comfortable pair I own. Admittedly, I may not go back to the tapered lifestyle but who knows. The denim is amazing and I look forward to beating the shit out of these things.
