What's your favorite Beer?
-
I like the label

Y'all every hear of Unicorn Farts? It's a Baltimore beer that I picked up yesterday. I love sours and it was the only one at the store I went to. Turns out it has edible glitter in it and is flavored like sweet cereal. Its actually pretty tasty…if you like fruiry beer made for faries. I went out this morning to pick up another 4 pack. They were limiting one per customer

This is an east coast take on grapefruit sculpin from ballast point
-
That's not my favorite style, either, but I'd be down for a four pack. Picking up would be a tad problematic, though.

Did they have the pilot brewhouse there when you were last at the brewery? They make an experimental brew once a week and release it at 09:00 on a Wednesday, it sells out within minutes. I am so pleased, because 5 months ago, they hardly knew what the interweb is, now they are using it wisely to help them through the pandemic. Those who adapt will survive….

No, they didn't have that set up yet. That sounds like a great addition, and I'm glad to see they're trying new things- hopefully with success. They've always seemed like a good group of guys, and have delt graciously whenever they've been invaded by drunken foreigners, even the loutish American ones…

Kudos to you G, for supporting your local brewer!..
I decided to support my local store with me mum but they didn't have anything good… So I did some blind purchasing (I don't have any apps on my phone or don't use it for perusing the interwebz, so I couldn't check Untappd))... And failed massively...
I bought a "San Diego style neipa" brewed by Stone Berlin... It was in one of their fridges, and I figured it'd be at least relatively fresh... Opened it in the car, had a big sigh, checked the bottom: canned June 2019... June 2019... I can't even remember what kind of fucking weather we had in June '19... Poured it out... No picture... There might be pictures others took of me crying by the side of the road...
Bought a Belgian IPA (gods the Belgian are a bunch of incompetent wankers innit) and had it during lunch... It wasn't thàt bad, but it tasted like a mix of a session IPA and a saison with spelt in it... I bought it cause this brewery has been making a name for itself as being the first Belgian (those wankers again!) brewery that is supposedly making good IPAs... Not jumping on that bandwagon just yet... My mum's gazpacho was on fucking point though...
Onwards!.. I chose this bottle last… It kinda confused me... It said it was "port with the complexity of beer"... Or so how I read it... It's 19% so I figured this was an experiment of barrel aging port on beer barrels?... What?.. I don't fucking know... It's 25C° out there - my brain stops working at around 11... JUST LOOK AT THE PRETTY FUCKING BOTTLE YAH?.. And the pretty fucking pricetag of 21€ (convincing me this hàd to be port)...
But it's not… As I of course found out when I came home...

If you are not knowledgeable enough to know anything under an avg. score of 3.7 is basically complete shit... It is... Mind you!.. 21€!..
To wash this all away, I'm having a solid Estonian stout with maple and tonka beans... As you can see, I did do my homework with that'un...
