Fruli is basically strawberry sofa.  Really sweet and artificial tasting.  I'm not a fan.

Liefmans Fruitesse is very, very sweet… Albeit based on Lambiek and not on white beer as is the new trend (unfortunately)...

              So yeah: avoid...

I'm in Norway at the moment, drinking a beer called Aass. Dunno what it means in Norwegian; I just bought it for comedy name value.

I was looking for your personal opinion, but that was fairly accurate. Average at best.

Agreed, the Sebenza is quite the knife.

But seriously, what kind of a lambic are we talking about here?  Sweet, sour…?

It's a Geuze… So a blend of young and old Lambiek... But from a mono blend in this case!.. Sour but not acidic... The smell when I opened it - better than champagne... Also: it's 8.5°... Def not your regular Geuze...

                                  It's not cheap though @ 3.7 €/ bottle…

Well I'm going by the fact that a normal Geuze costs less… I don't care what you bastards normally pay  😃

It just sucks that you consider $5 for a 750mL bottle expensive, when we have to pay triple that, if we can even find the same beer.
