Collegue at work has a familymembers who makes beers himself (amateur)… I was pleasantly surprised to see both bottles she brought for me, were Weizen beers!..

First'un. That delicious, typical smell... Oily mouthfeel, wee bit thin bodied; but hell it's better than Jupiler!..

It's between Joyride, Comrade, and Crooked Stave as to which Denver brewery is my favorite on a given day.

Today a Dortmunder style lager followed by an experimental IPA.

They just added a rooftop overlooking Sloan's Lake so anyone finding themselves in Denver this summer should visit for the view and the beer. Excellent Thai hole-in-the-wall US Thai is on the same block.

Nice cool night here (prob one of the last) so I’m going to finish off a stout or two. This is Prairie Artisinal’s Oh Fudge brownie infused stout. Lots of chewy, fudgy flavor with a bit of alcohol heat (11%). Pretty smooth but a bit cloying. Def couldnt drink more than one.

The Veil- Never Never Give Up Give Up. A double blackberry and double passionfruit gose and hands down my favourite beer I've ever drunk. Based in the UK so its impossible to get hold of probably ever again.
